Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the use of parking areas and toll roads, including related charges and payments.

1. General contractual information

The area to which these terms and conditions apply may include parking areas, adjacent areas, private toll roads, associated road areas, access roads and lay-bys. The applicable terms and conditions apply whenever a vehicle enters, uses or occupies any part of the area, including when stopping, waiting, standing, loading, unloading or parking. By entering or using the area, you accept and agree to comply with the applicable terms and conditions, whether displayed on-site or otherwise made available.

2. Right of withdrawal

Information signs are displayed near the entrance to the area. Camera-based automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is used across these areas. When a vehicle enters the area, a parking or toll road charge may be incurred. Because the service is provided immediately upon entry, there is no right to withdraw from or cancel the service once the vehicle has entered the area.

3. Cancellation

Once a vehicle has been registered by the automatic number plate recognition system, the registration cannot be cancelled.

4. Prices

Charges are calculated according to the tariff applicable to the relevant parking area or toll road.

5. Payment

Payment can be made online at www.parkpay.no or www.passpay.no, by using a payment machine if one is available on site, or upon receiving an invoice. The user is responsible for ensuring that the correct vehicle registration number has been entered. Available payment methods and applicable charges may vary by location. Users are encouraged to check the signage and information provided at the relevant location. Card payments are processed through a secure payment solution provided by Nets. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

6. Foreign-registered vehicles

Vehicles registered outside Norway will not receive a standard invoice. Charges must be paid using one of the available payment methods within the applicable payment period. Failure to pay within the applicable payment period may result in the claim being referred to a third-party collection agency. Additional fees and costs may apply.

7. Purchase and use of products

When purchasing or activating a product on our website, the product’s validity period will not be retroactive. This also applies to the purchase and addition of extra vehicles to an already purchased product. The expiry date and time of a product apply to all vehicles associated with that product. Any change of vehicle associated with a product must be made before a parking charge or toll road charge is registered for that vehicle. 8. Complaints

If you wish to submit a complaint regarding a parking area or toll road, please contact the relevant operator of the parking area or toll road. If your complaint concerns an invoice, please contact the invoice issuer using the contact information provided on the invoice.
